Lose Weight Without Exercise
Everyone is different, some people respond to exercise immediately and start to see results in a matter of days. Others take longer. Just know that anyone can lose weight and turn their life around, no matter who they are. You just need to be persistent.
Lets talk about exercise here. You should aim to do at least 3-4 sessions a week if you can. Having said that, if you are someone who is active just as part of their job, then you may not need to exercise at all. Take postmen for example my postman walks for about 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. Do you think he needs extra exercise? Not a chance. Hes as fit as a fiddle. Come to think of it, I dont think Ive ever come across a fat postman ever in my life. Interesting. On the other hand, if you sit at a desk all day, then you definitely need to get some exercise in. So you see, it really depends on your lifestyle. But for most people, more exercise would be very beneficial. There are things you can do everyday though to keep active such as walking to places that are close that you would normally drive to or take a bus to. Not only is it good for you but its good for the environment as well.
A friend of mine used to drive his 2 kids to school everyday, there and back. Now its only 1.5 miles away, yet it took 30 minutes in the car each way. Imagine. Then one day he decided to walk them there and back. Guess how long it took? 25 minutes each way so it was quicker. But theres more. He realised that now he was only using his car once every 2 months or so. So he decided to sell it. He saved $ 3000 a year no on gas and insurance, as well as getting a few grand for the car when he sold it. This extra money is enough to take his family on 2 holidays a year! So you see just think off all the added bonuses you can get by walking and we havent even talked about the increased health he and his kids have.
So whats the quickest way to lose weight without exercise? Well I know of plenty ways of losing weight quick but you know what? Most of them are just down right unhealthy and shortterm fixes. With most of them youll lose it alright, but before long youll have put it all back on again, and probably more. So here Im just going to talk about the healthier, more sustainable ways. It may take a bit longer, but it will stay off and youll be healthier.
Look on your weight as a factor of your lifestyle. If you drink alot, smoke, eat poorly and dont exercise, well thats a lifestyle. Im not going to say its right or wrong, but we all know what its going to do to your body. Over time, this lifestyle will make you pile on weight, be unhealthy, suffer from low energy as well as missing out on all the things life offers to a fit person.
Now consider a person who eats well, ie fruit and veg and natural stuff. Hes not anal about it, nor is he trying very hard its just who he is. He plays tennis twice a week with a friend, not even so much for exercise but because he enjoys it. He plays football 3 times a weeks with other friends, again not so much for exercise but because he genuinely enjoys the social aspect.
Now tell me, which one do you think is going to be healthier? Do you think hes probably happier as well? I would probably think so. The message is this losing weight and being healthy are not necessarily very painful make them fun and incorporate them into your lifestyle and theyll come naturally, not something you have to chase after.
